Meet our Site Managers!!

We have worked with several intriguing, scholarly, hard-working, and interesting site managers over the course of this summer.  This is the place to post their pictures and add information about them....perhaps something you learned or found interesting.

MEET CHRISTOPHER MILLER (DLNR/NAR)
Chris was our site manager for Pahole NAR, our camping expert (and life saver) at Peacock Flats, and taughts us well how to perform trail maintenance and install water bars on the Mokuleia Trail.  Much mahalo to Chris and all his hard work, expertise...use of his stove, propane, ice and water!!!

And this is Koʻi (means sharp; not dull)...Chris 10 week old pup...and chow hound!!  She now LOVES mexican food :)

MEET AMANDA (Mandy) HARDMAN (DLNR/NAR)
Mandy was our site manager for Makua Rim where we removed HUNDREDS of Strawberry Guava!!  What a nuisance these trees are.  Great big thank to Mandy for leading our hikes to the rim, sharing with us the snail enclosure, and taking us down to see some of the rarest plants on Earth....and found ONLY in Hawaiʻi!!! (she happens to be standing in front of one them in this picture)
